General FAQs
No experience required. We provide full instruction before every tour. Our kayaks are extremely stable and comfortable for all levels including complete beginners.
Absolutely — and it’s one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences you’ll ever have. Our guides are trained to read alligator behavior and we maintain safe, respectful distances. We carry all required Coast Guard and National Park Service safety equipment.
Yes. Children particularly enjoy our tours due to the variety of activities and wildlife encounters. Single and tandem kayaks available so children can paddle with a parent or guide.
Cancellations prior to 14 days from the tour date receive a full deposit refund. Within 14 days we offer rescheduling. Within 2 days of the tour, the full booking fee may be forfeited or a gift certificate issued at our discretion.
Sunscreen, water, snacks, hat, sunglasses, closed-toe shoes or sandals, camera or waterproof phone case, bug spray for dawn/dusk tours, and a light jacket for cool mornings.

Yes — the Dolphin View is a waterfront 5th wheel directly on the water just steps from the tours. Other options include Outdoor Resorts, Chokoloskee Island Park, The Everglades City Motel, The Captain's Table, River Wilderness, and the Ivey House.

Alligators are commonly seen on our mangrove tunnel and morning tours. The stealthy kayaks allow us to observe them from close, respectful distances impossible from a power boat.
River otters, turtles, raptors, wading birds, songbirds, orchids, bromeliads — and on boat assisted tours: dolphins, manatees, bald eagles, roseate spoonbills, sea turtles, and more.
Yes — many guests combine a morning Mangrove Tunnel tour with an afternoon Boat Assisted Kayak tour. Alligators in the morning. Dolphins in the afternoon. It’s a full-day immersive Everglades experience.

Refunds
Full deposit refund with 14+ days notice. Within 14 days, rescheduling offered. Within 2 days, gift certificate may be issued at our discretion. Weather cancellations are always rescheduled at no charge.
